Derek Wood is a multifaceted veteran of the hospitality sector with real-world, senior front-line operations experience that evolved into a diverse entrepreneurial industry supporting role. Since 1987, Derek worked through all levels and areas of hospitality before leaving a full-service hotel GM position in 2003 to follow an industry-supporting role as an entrepreneur. After almost 20 years of providing onsite inspections (aka mystery shops) to some of the most incredible names in luxury hospitality, Derek has turned a corner by focusing on recruiting and consulting.
