iVvy Event & Venue Management Software has partnered with Lightwave, a smart lighting, power and heating technology company, to connect event scheduling directly with building energy controls. The integration gives stadiums, hotels, hospitality venues and function centres a way to run more sustainably and work toward net-zero targets.
The system links Lightwave’s smart devices to iVvy’s booking data. When an event is scheduled, screens, AV equipment, catering appliances and lighting switch on ahead of time, then power down automatically once the event ends, with no manual intervention needed.

Already live at Edgbaston Stadium
Edgbaston Stadium, one of England’s most iconic cricket grounds and a high-volume, multi-use events venue, is among the first to deploy the integration.
Matchdays, conferences and private events often run at the same time across different parts of the ground, so the venue needed energy management that could scale without adding work for staff.
